Domestic Abuse Support

Domestic Abuse (DA), also known as Domestic Violence or Intimate Partner Violence, is a pattern of behaviour used by one person to gain power and control over another person in a familial or intimate relationship.

Domestic Abuse can occur in any type of intimate relationship or past relationship, including married couples, dating partners, same-sex couples, and family members. Whilst the perpetrator is most often a partner or an ex-partner, Domestic Abuse may also be committed by an adult child or grandchild, a parent or grandparent, or sibling.

Fear Free is a charity that can help victims of domestic abuse, which can take many forms. Contact them if you need help or, know someone who needs help.
